Feature 07 — Target setting
Three ways to set a target, one to commit to it
Fund managers choose a pathway, set their own reduction, import a science-based CRREM trajectory, or derive one from a costed action plan, and see the resulting curve before they commit. The target stops being a guess and becomes a decision.

Step 1 of 3 · Choose a pathway
A · CUSTOM
Set your own
Custom % reduction against a chosen baseline year.
B · NZC IMPORT
Science-based pathway
Import the CRREM 1.5°C trajectory for the asset type.
C · ACTION-BASED
From your action plan
Derived from the costed interventions you've scheduled.
Resulting trajectory
kgCO₂e / m² · to 2050
Selected pathway (1.5°C) Business-as-usual
What you're looking at
1
Three routes, plain language. Custom, science-based or action-derived, named the way managers actually think about targets.
2
Science-based is the default nudge. The CRREM 1.5°C import is pre-selected, steering toward a credible commitment rather than an arbitrary number.
3
See the curve before committing. The chosen pathway redraws live against business-as-usual, so the consequence of the choice is visible up front.
